When you mentioned your terminal illness, that was the first thing I thought of for you, that you will be reunited with your loved one. I am a widow also and I recall sharing that with you. Actually, it's not morbid and I know that you understand, but I think about that glorious moment when I pass over and there he'll be, along with my Grandpa, my beloved pets, and Jesus especially. It's not something I would want people feeling badly for me for, I truly look forward to it, in God's time (I'm in no hurry!). I can understand wakes and celebrations for the dead in Ireland, if you have the faith and belief system in place that it's a beautiful place they are going.

My prayers to you for more good days that bad and am glad that your doggies are okay. Know that you are in all of our thoughts.

I so wish hospitals would allow patients' dogs to come for visits. My mom was in a nursing home that allowed pet visits.

My prayers are with you. Heaven is waiting. Jesus is faithful to uphold His promise of everlasting life given by His death on the cross if you have committed your heart to Him. What a promise to look toward.

something we forget in thi crazy fast paced world. Since life has forced me to stp to the sidelines I see this so clearly.none of these mega mansions around here for which people have sold their souls and caused untold grief to others by firing them and taking over the companies have the least permanence or meaning except to add to the grief in this world of which there is already far too much.

this board has it right--concern and love for animals thqt need us, concern and love for the many we cant reach and help, laughtr and joy at the antics of our pets and families, instant and unfailing support for members and dogs in crises of all kinds.

Whoever created and maintains and particiipates in BDW has done more to improve the world than the biggest hot shot out there. no on here sows vitriol, hate, half truths and ad hominem attacks either for power or for money or for 'entertainment'. Its just a community of caring people. It TAKES A BULLETIN BOARD TO RAISE A BULLDOG And that's not just the drugs talking (yet:)

Don't worry about answering all the time. When you can check in, do so, otherwise just know that we're thinking of you.
