Poor Maybull has the rumbly-tumbly

I had hear the loudest and most awful noises comeing from her digestive trac. Usually, she'll eat the ground turkey and rice that helps settle this down, but she's not interested. Poor bullie!

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Try a Tagamet.

You would probably need to put it into 1/2teas of cream cheese and open her mouth, pop it into the back, shut the mouth and massage the throat to get her to swallow...and then wait about 30-45mins to see if she's willing to eat a small amount of something moist (a way of getting some food and liquid into her at same time)...maybe couple teaspoonfuls of thick chic/rice soup?

Sounds exactly like what Stella had

We went through exactly the same thing a couple of weeks ago. Her stomach noises actually woke me up out of a dead sleep - it seriously sounded like an alien was trying to break out.

We ended up having to take her to the vets. She got a shot for nausea and some antibiotics/anti-inflamatories. It eventually did the trick.

(We determined this course of action after x-rays to rule out a blockage and blood tests to rule out everything else. She had TONS of gas and some inflamation.)

I use plain, fat free yogurt every day with my girls.

It helps them keep tummy rumbles down to a bare minimum!

Good luck Stephanie:-)
