PollyAnna's Rescue Story for Pat.....

Well PollyAnna was our little rescue puppy! She was the last female puppy out of a litter of 6. We saw the poor skinny baby at a local flea market. The previous owners sold her to us for the fraction of the price of what they were selling the others for. We just had to get her out of there! My husband said to not get attached that she might not make it, but the baby had such a spark to her. She had me the first time she looked in my face with her bright little eyes. She did not play like the other puppies but just followed us around. She was determined to go home with us and we are so glad that she did. PollyAnna only weighed a meager 3.5 pounds at 8 weeks and was one of the most emaciated puppies we have ever seen. She was so small that she could walk under our Miniature Pinschers Penny and Delilahs bellies! PollyAnna thrived at our home and now weighs a healthy 60 pounds! She will never be a show dog due to her longer legs and nose, but she makes children and people happy as a registered therapy dog. We love PollyAnna with all of our hearts!

Her tests were supposed to be around 10AM this morning and they said that they would call me. You know how that is sometimes they take their time calling....
