Submitted by mallory0423 on April 20, 2010 - 10:34pmI saw this poem on the On The Rebound website for rescue bulldogs. I don't know if any of you have seen it before but I had not. I just think this is the sweetest poem ever. I can't even explain how true it is!!!
My Heart Belongs To A Bulldog
A Bulldog's not for everyone,
You'll know that from the start-
But when that Bulldog looked at me,
I quickly lost my heart.
A breed with quite a history,
A dog that stands apart-
Clever and devoted,
With such a loving heart.
Next to my chair when resting,
Or sharing time outside-
I can't imagine life without
A Bulldog by my side.
