we still don't really know what it is..the vet aspirated it twice..and nothing bad was in it..they ran tests on the fluid and blood...
..it seems abit smaller ..but it is on the left side of his jaw line and goes a bit under the chin..sorted shaped like a fat banana...
the vet seems to think it may be a salvitory(SP?) gland that the duck is closed....they don't think it's life threatening...or even painful...I don't know how it couldn't be..it's huge...
it's soft and movable...
and when he has his palate surgery they will explore it...and if they can remove it...
..I'm calling the vet today about his eating..and will also talk again about this lump..and let you know what I find out...hugs...ce
