Fluff update.....

I stayed home today with her. She had her shot of genticin this a.m. and pred. Has been drinking and peeing ok. However, she is very unstable in walking, it seems the right rear hip is the one that is more swollen and giving problems. She still doesn't want to eat. I forced her to eat a couple bites of chicken, then she seemed to enjoy some cottage cheese spooned in her mouth a little more.

However, this afternoon as she was laying on the bed, she kept panting. I took her temperature and it has spiked up to 104.5. I tried calling my vet, he was gone. (there are 7 other vets there, but what do THEY know...lol)... I called his cell, left message. Meanwhile, I put her in the tub with cold water for about 10 minutes, then put her in her cozy in front of a fan, and put about a half a bottle of alcohol on her. My vet called, and said to give her the other shot (that was supposed to be for tomorrow a.m.) and another pred. If it doesn't start working after a while, or her temp continues raising, I am to call him.

Right now, she is laying in her cozy, wet, with the fan on her. John has an ice pack and was rubbing it on her belly, etc.

So, as I had said, she still isn't out of the woods on this. I will let you guys later in the evening how things are going...

yes please and

give her a big hug from us...
