I am sure jackson is smiling on you tonight,

Rae, I am pretty sure that my boy Nacho is smart enough to realize what a great gift you just gave him. He looks pretty and proud sitting in Jackson's bed. I bet that was hard to do, but very sweet of you! ( and you know I LOVE Nacho ) now you can have a more tangible part of Jackson around and enjoy those memories with Nacho.

that is the magic of a used Bed..they smell BULLY like to Nacho. the chances of Nacho accepting a new bed are not guaranteed....
would be worse if he had turned up his nose at the bed..

MINE will NOT use the 100.00 donut bed I bought..georgous bed..
the pugs took it over..lol and that is worse..
believe me..
bought it just for Gus...NO way he is sleeping on that.....he stole the cats bed...hahahahaha

sniff, awww! sniff. I'm sure Jackson wouldn't mind letting Nacho use his bed. That picture just kills em! awwww....

your words ring true. I had such a bond with that boy. When you nurse someone from the bottom of the bottom and then lose them it's the hardest thing in the world.

I think you are right. Passing on special things is important.

I don't think Jackson would mind. When Chief passed, I let the other dogs have his bed and all but a couple of his toys. I kept a couple of special toys and a blanket that belonged to him.

all dogs have a very strong emotional bond to us....if not something is wrong.
Nacho is there to help you through all that I am sure.....big time..
bullies have a way of.......doing that..
imprinting on the mind and MOST of all the soul..
I know how rough it is loosing a great pet..and friend..too. went through that will my boston and even when you post pics of YOUR BOSTON.can feel it tug at my heart too... still miss her lots too..

NOW can Nacho have the toys..lol
Nacho I am trying for you..

Jackson was such a special part of my life, it still hurts that we had him for such a short time. Too short.
However he brought me to start volunteering with rescue, Nacho came to me because of him.
I think he is an angel looking down right now.

and there to stay..so why NOT let him enjoy the bed too
I would do the same thing with the toys too..let Nacho

that is very IMPORTANT...big shoes for that new man of your life to fill..
