O/T...Who still has their tree up? We do!
Submitted by mslita on April 21, 2010 - 12:31amWe didn't get our tree until Dec 12th, and it's still just gorgeous and sucking up water every day. With so many people suffering form seasonal affective disorder, I always keep mine up until the second week of Jan. Because I have a jury duty summons next week, that means down he goes on Jan. 10. NOT looking forward to that! I'm keeping my collection of Misfit Toys up a little longer, ha ha, because it just gets dark too soon in January, and I need a little holiday cheer around me to keep me from going crazy.
Oh, and Maddie's doing great!

January is a big downer month for most people
I just want to have Christmas with my son on the ships..and that is not for another couple of weeks yet..so the decorations stay up and the tree too
I really miss a former neighbor who kept her Christmas lights up
unfortunately she moved away about five years ago. She used to decorate both her front and back yard, the latter of which backed up to the pond that my house backs up to. Thus, every night in January when I took my dogs out to go potty, I would have a great view of her lights. I wish more people would leave their lights up that long. Then January wouldn't be such a downer of a month.

Trees are finally down 2 days ago and
I got a jury duty simmons too, but mine's the 26th! JOY

I DO..MINE stays up for another couple of weeks..maybe longer..
My son is not off the boats for Christmas yet..and promised him the tree would stay up and the decorations too..so still looks like Christmas when he gets home.
I also have 2 theme trees..
a Toronto Maple Leaf tree and a Ford Canada tree that stays up the whole year..in both of my sons room..they are lit up the whole year..
We do!
We keep it up until Epiphany, January 6th, the last day of Christmas for us!
I don't put it up until the day before Christmas Eve, so it's been drinking, too, but we're taking it down today!
