totally entertained me on my rescue transport to the vet. Actually, the book says there is a web site. I meant to check it out. The guy who wrote it is a pastor who got his whole congregation to wear little purple rubber reminder bracelets. The idea is when you find yourself complaining, you have to switch the bracelet to your other wrist. It is supposed to make you conscious of how much you complain, so you will stop. The challenge is to go 21 days without having to switch the bracelet from one wrist to the other.
I just checked out the web site. He has given out over 6 million of his little purple reminder bracelets in 106 countries.
I had a very annoyance-filled day. Topped off by a guy who called my office, mad that his pipette wouldn't work. Said he charged it and it didn't aspirate liquid. "How long did you charge it?" "I charged it." "No, how LONG?" "2-3..." "2-3 hours?" "2-3 minutes." "OK, that's not long enough..." "Why not?" "Because it's NEW and it needs to charge OVERNIGHT." "Oh. OK."
Hahahaha.
But the annoyances left at the doorstep when I came home to my wiggly smoofly Gretl.
(Well, ok, I lied, we were meeting a pet sitter, and she peed in her crate for the first time in MONTHS... that was a wee bit annoying. LOL!!!!!)
Just listened to the book, "A Complaint Free World." Interesting concept. I'm trying to complain less. I haven't told anyone, other than you all, because I don't want to be held accountable. LOL

Altho I had the wrong starting time for my golf game written in my calendar, and I had to miss the first four holes to catch up with my group, my overall score was one I was pleased with...had lunch with the girls afterward, hubby and I met friends for dinner so I didn't have to cook at all today, and I even have yummy leftovers in the frig for tomorrow's lunch! Darn good day, I'd say!!
So far this morning, not yet....
But yesterday.... THAT's another story!!!

Always in my heart...
Yes. I got it at the library..

I don't rescue animals because I want to feel better about myself, or morally superior to anyone. The best part of my life with animals is the humility they teach and the humanity the foster.

I have started the red wine diet
and it's working so well! I just drink enough wine every day to not care at all about how large my butt is or the fact that my pants don't fit.

I'm easily annoyed
...so of course.
These kinds of books can be so inspirational....and
...so quickly abandoned. Kind of like starting another diet.
Oh you betcha. Right now as we speak as a matter of fact.
And I will just leave it at that!!!
Suffice it to say, it is NOT anyone online! It is in living color:-)
