I am just a hair shy of 6' tall, but don't weigh a huge amount....but too tall none-the-less. I take off the track TB's and retrain them when I get the chance, that is as close as I will ever get:-)
JD with Bruno used to work with yearlings (I think it was yearlings) at Churchill Downs. She has some cool stories to tell I bet! We should hit her up for some!

to spend a lot of time on Flyer Talk forums when I was learning about the whole frequent flier game... I have been flying to Los Angeles a couple of times a month for the last couple of months on FF miles and to be honest Beth and I rarely pay for a plane ticket ...The idea of being a 10 million Million Miler seems crazy... I could see hitting 1 million but not 10 million. Right now I am sitting on over 600,000 FF miles and continue to earn around 100,000 a year at no real out of pocket cost and very few flights that earn miles. I hope that all is well!

btw, Brian, have you seen the movie "Up In The Air?" If not, the main character, played by George Clooney, is trying to hit 10 million frequent flyer miles. He says in the movie that they will even put your name on a plane when a flyer hits that mark.

My dad has been a big curler most of his life and even coached the curling team where he taught high school. The were OFSSA champions for at least a couple of years.
I haven't discovered the appeal yet, myself. Then again, you never would have convinced me that I would enjoy golf - and I do!

When I was a kid I wanted to be the 1st woman to ride in the Kentucky Derby. But I kept growing taller and taller and eventually got to where it would be impossible to make weight. Sigh

Yes, back when I was younger and richer (read - pre-Bulldogs) I borrowed a few cars for Drivers School from friends, mostly in the Showroom Stock classes. Later I rented a Lola Formula C open wheel, then imported an Astro-Kamen Formula Super Vee. Also borrowed a friend's European Ford 3 liter Capri endurance car for a while. Somewhere along the way I bought to restore and planned to run Vintage races, a 1963 Lotus 27 Formula C and got it most of the way together before running out of money. Bought my 1st motorcycle when I was 21 and rode a succession of bikes until I was about 40. Really didn't want to give it up, but by then I didn't have time to really enjoy it. I miss the Club racing atmosphere, both cars and bikes.

I would love to jockey a high end runner in a big race. Too bad I am too tall and too heavy! I also would love to see my mares baby race and become a huge winner, but not with a whip and drugs and all the crap that goes on in racing today. I won't run a horse of mine for those very reasons.

And going to New Orleans sounds pretty good to me. Especially if the Saints win the Super Bowl. Then you may never leave.

My answer has to be qualified. I'm too old and rickety for this now, but I always wanted to be the Monkey on a sidecar racing team. Doesn't have to be a professional race, even a 'weekend warrior' club event would do.
Me too!

Robin, I've been meaning to ask you but keep forgetting;...

And sorry to say I'm not a big football fan (I know booo Tracy lol).

And as far as you writing #1 best sellers, I thought you already did that. It just that the publishers haven't been smart enough to pick them up yet
I agree, very interesting topic

Curl on a perfect sheet of professional ice.
Took up curling a couple of years a go and fell in love with it. But the facilities around here are far from perfect.
