My husband came through the surgery well though it took 3 hrs instead of 2.
The Dr said the vertebrae at L3-4 were so tight & narrowed that it was very difficult to clean up the bone & arthritic debris. He is now concerned about the stability of L3-4 & said future surgery may be needed to fuse those vertebrae, something we were hoping would not be necessary.
However, my husband was resting comfortably when I left the hosp this evening & will be back home tomorrow.
We sincerely appreciate the good wishes of all our BDW friends.

That's a relief
Hopefully he won't need future surgery but I am glad this one went well.

That is such a relief!
I bet you feel so much better now that it's over. I hope he heals very fast and it makes a big improvement in his life.
