yes it's very common for people to feed their horses a hot bran mash in the winter. The horses LOVE it! And many feel it gets water into their gut in the winter when they aren't drinking as much water as they should. But it's very labor intensive for a big boarding facility and where I currently keep my horses they don't spoil them with a hot bran mash, ever. I just spoil them with carrots and apples.

tho using a towel instead of pompons. I didn't know horses eat corn on the cob, lol. I love it too. Do horse owners bring hot food to their horses?
