Oscar is getting better !!!!

Thanks to everyone who sent there love and thoughts across the world to England.
Oscar is much better, eating and drinking well and his gums are a nice healthy pink.
He still gets breathless easily but is coughing up the gooey stuff from his chest.
Ten is a big age to be inhaling vomit and getting a chest infection, I really thought the time had come but he looks like he`s fighting back with that Bulldog spirit we all know and love.
Now I need to lie down in a dark room I just got the bill for the emergency vet visit !!!! but worth every penny.

I am delighted to her Oscar is doing better...
having two 10 year old greys..I know how when they are down...it is much more worrisome then when they were younger...scary stuff...
but like you mentioned..there is that bullie spirit raising it's delightful globbering grin..and bouncing back..I am so thrilled...I hope the vet bill doesn't hit too hard..we all know we just do it...but ouch...how come they don't give us a doggie downer or a bottle of fine wine..before they hand us the bill?chuckle....hugs sweet Oscar...ce

This is wonderful news about Oscar!!! I am so very happy for you that he is getting better. Maybe it was a touch of pneumonia, and you caught it early on so no damage was done.
Whatever it was, I am so pleased for you that Oscar is getting back to his old self. It is really scary when these "elder" dogs get sick. Most of my crew are elder dogs.
