OMG-- I am so stressed right now (not bully related)
Submitted by ahil29 on April 20, 2010 - 5:26pmI just checked my credit card online (that I closed over a month ago, at least I thought I did) and it said that there is high activity. So I called. So far they have charged over 1500.00 to my card. I am stressing big time. So now my account is closed and I have to fill out all these papers and file a police report. I called one of the places that had a phone number and they just said ok we will credit your account. They said that this happens A LOT. And they were like no big deal. WOW. They said people get the info off of the internet. So now I need to check into identiy fraud, I guess. Sorry this is so long, I just need to vent. Thanks for listening.

Last year someone had a blast with one of my credit cards. Turned out to be an employee of the tire store where I had just purchased tires. Your c/c company will credit all unauthorized charges, in turn they will contact all vendors involved requesting that they submit signed sales receipts. Do not try to contact individual vendors looking for them to credit your account. What happened to me was the tire company gave me credit and also my c/c company gave me credit. So I ended up with a double credit, which when the c/c company tried to straighten out, they rebilled me 3 times. It took 6 months to get it right. Let your c/c company take care of the credits to your account.

It is not through my paypal account!
I have called almost every purchase with a phone number and they are almost all companies that have to do with email services and servers. They have my billing info and everything. urrrrrrr
