olde world bulldog?

I have a question reguarding our new baby we purchashed. Its not really that big of a deal but still we would like to know. The "breeder" we got the dog from said he is part red nose pit which I know is true and part "old world bulldog" but we cant find any information on such a dog. If anyone knows please let us know. It would be greatly appreciated.

If you talking about Red Nose Pit Bull then yes there is a breed of dog! Very nice dogs.

you might look under

olde english bulldog
bulldogge
victorian bulldog

Most are mix of bulldog, boxer, pit.....

Vicky, Bosco, Bella & the Babies

Did the seller mean Old English Bulldog??

If so, they look pretty much just like a traditional English Bulldog but with longer legs. I think there is a web site for them, but don't know it's address.

Olde English Bulldogges....not mixed.....

Hi Dean, sounds like you have a mixed breed puppy.
The Olde English Bulldogge of today is a line of its own and has been for 30 years. Some lines go even further back. They are not mixed with pits, boxers, staffys, bull terriers or mastiffs today as there are more than enough breeders doing a fantastic job of breeding a very healthy bulldogges. There is an occasional exception, but overall, the olde breed is a very healthy breed.
I have Arthur, an Olde with a pedigree of over 5 generations, and I couldn't be happier. He's a true bulldogge through and through.
You can check out www.ckcusa.com www.dogresources.com/olde/
for more information. Post a pic if you can, we're always encouraging pics. LOL

prev post was in no way meant to offend, just info and links...

Dean, I hope post didn't come across as a slam.
Both breeds of dog are wonderful, and distinct, I don't understand why they were crossed.???
Bet your new pup is a joy. Arthur sends snuffles.
