Ok Pat, I measured Audrey
Submitted by CathyandAudrey on April 21, 2010 - 12:30amand when she is standing, I balanced a ruler across her shoulder blades and measured from the floor to the ruler, she is 15". She actually lost an inch on her girth, I can't believe it! I am going to find the measuring tape I used to measure her originally, because that seems weird to me. Her girth is 27.5". Her neck is 19.5". These are all measured with a measuring tape, not too tight to squish her wrinkles but still kinda snug. Her back length from her neck to the base of her tail is 16". She weighed 43 pounds about a month ago. I am really curious tosee if she's really as small as I think she is!

hmmm Audrey is much shorter in the BACK...much..but...
I do not think she will get any longer any more..
but she will get wider guaranteed..
they really do expand between 2 and 3 years
some a bit earlier I heard..
Bella is a lean machine..lol. that is what the vet calls her. she is very slight..and she could gain a few pounds and still look good.
Gus is lean too.
even though Gus is shorter...his head is double the size of bellas..he has a huge huge head..
I WOULD say that Bella is more solid then Gus too
Now I think Audrey's back is real short
Bella is long and lean. She and Audrey are the same height and really the same weight but Audrey is so much more compact.

Since Audrey is the only bulldog I've seen in person, I was wondering about her size. She seems so small to me! I thought she had really short legs, but now I think she has a real short back!She is 13 months now so I don't thnk she's going to get any bigger.

MEASUREMENTS...lol Hard hard work to do this..lol
First Gus
His neck is 23
His height is 13
his girth...is 30
he is 32 inches long..
Gus is 52 pounds last check in..
and does not need to loose any weight so the vet says..
then Bella
her neck is 19
her height is 15
her girth is 25
she is 24 inches long..
she was 42 and going down last check in
trying to keep some weight on her..lol is a chore
the vet does not want her to loose anymore..
glad that this experiment is done..lol. what a chore to measure these guys it was..

but that got me thinking, so I measured Lily, she is a tinier bully too, fat but tiny

so Lily is: 16" tall
19 1/2 neck
18 1/2" from her nect to her tail
31 1/2" girth
and she weighs about 50-52 lbs, she has a large front, her stance is wide, but her hind end goes in, I know she is over weight and needs to loose at least 8 pounds,
