He chewed a hole in the side of it and ate around it like an apple, lol. Now theres just a rope with some plastic around part of it. He loves these things but at 20$ a pop they are a once to twice a year treat im afraid,lol...

Teaser balls are forms of jolly balls but are much tougher. I find that the jolly balls are softer and easier to chew for my guys here. Bella has yet to really hurt the teaser ball where the JOLLY ball is Bella marked lots..lol just a thought ..try a teaser if you have not yet. they cost the same and might even be a bit less then a jolly ball.

they all have very different personalities.. all pugs love to be held and are very human like in nature.. very easy going dogs all the time
the one in the pic is my rescue pug max. he was beaten everyday for the first 6 months of his life before he moved in with me...a year and a half ago. he is just the funniest of all the pugs here now. personality too boot and a hoot with the bullies. he thinks he is a bully..lol. he was raised really by Bella so guess that is why..she totally loves Max.
the teaser ball in the pic that Max has..is purple. I did some reading on this and turns out that red is the perferred colour but that is followed closely but blue. apparently dogs see Blue better then red even.. but red seems to be the colour that most dogs love the best. the purple ball here hardly gets played with but by Max.. the red one is more then well used..lol by all the dogs. even the little 13 pound pug can carry that huge ball..she is really funny to watch with it..she drags it but she does carry the thing.
the teaser ball is the best toy of the bunch I hope they never go out of style and do not make them anymore. great investment.. even more then the jolly ball

she just grabbed my neck and put her paws around me and hugged me. I was so astonished at how human-like she acted Thanks for posting the pic. The blue ball is the favorite one here, go figure?

carrying it around. I think we've actually gone six months without buying a ball. They get expensive when you have to replace one a month! :)Have a great day Pat!

I love them.. I have a couple of them outside.. and now just got another one.. they take the abuse better then the jolly ball for sure and you right..they just hook their jaws and run with it.. even my pugs use the teaser ball.. Gus and Bella both love it too.. thanks for the suggestion..they are great
mine filled with some snow in the winter..so use the jolly ball more for now.. but in the summer..we will use the teaser ball again more. I love them

teaser balls are still going strong. I think I was who showed that ball to Pat a long time ago in one of her posts. We had the handle-less balls too, but they ended up looking like swiss cheese The teaser just holds up better, and they love to hook that lower jaw in one and carry it around. One of our balls did develop a crack at the seam after landing on our tile floors so often. I am sold on them for as long as they can be found

they are great.. Bella still has her first one.. she is much much rougher with the jolly balls the teaser ball is hard plastic where the jolly ball is soft.. the teaser balls are awesome just bought another one for back here for Bella and they are about 5 dollars cheaper here anyhow then the jolly ball I say give them a try..they are made by the same company anyhow and called Jolly balls on the teaser ball..love them and had good success with them here anyhow.
Have you tried a teaser ball instead of the jolly ball???

We have one with no handle and no rope
it's got a hole in the middle but no rope. Took Onslow a LONG time to kill it. =)

I always wondered about that - almost bought it a couple of time
but Dixie killed the original one in a day, chewed right threw that handle - too expensive for a chew toy and bones last longer! LOL
