I am so surprised that Mama Pip allows Gabe to be that close to her babies.
Just shows how special the relationships are with all of your Bullies & of course that all stems from you. Incredible pics that need to be published somewhere for all dog lovers everywhere!

but I did NOT know she was Gabe's daughter! I just found this site in November, so if you've posted them since then I may have just been still in the trying to figure out who's who stage.

I'll try to upload some later on--gotta go help a friend out for a bit! Can't believe you never saw them...I had two of his daughters here at my house, keeping them for their new Mom, for two months & posted lots of pix of them...Angel & Gabby? There's also a photo of Gabe and his 2 mo old boy, Sonny posing on a skateboard--that boy was sold to the animal agent up in Canada that we worked with on his movie & will be used as one of Gabe's doubles in future movies I just posted a pic of Angel (now 7 months) a week ago or so...she looks SO much like her Daddy!

...and she's living up to her name, too! She is a MOOSE! She's literally TWICE the size of Sumi

and when they are about 3 weeks we'll start them on puppy "mush" along with nursing from Momma. They'll gradually eat more and more and will be weaned by around 5-6 weeks (probably will wean these girls a bit on the earlier side since Momma Pip is such a picky eater and is pretty thin--silly girl!)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE her!All the pups are uber-cute, and Gabe is a huge teddy bear. This was the first thing I saw this am when I got my coffee and checked on BDW.

Gabe just makes me happy, I love to read all about him, and loving the babies very much,

Some male dogs have great instincts.
my girlfriend shephard took in a rescue kitten one time..and he just mothered this kitten like you would not believe.
I personally had never seen anything like it before
especially a cat..but he did awesome
when the cat passed on..he got super depressed. my girlfriend had to get him another kitten to mother.

glad to see that Gabe does such a great job

how long do they nurse for yet?? the full eight weeks?

He did this last year with Pip's litter, too. At first Pip won't let the other dogs anywhere near, but as the pups get stronger, then Gabe "takes over"...if they squawk, he's right there to make sure they're OK. When they start to teethe, he lets them chew on his lips & chin...always very gentle & watches over them like a hawk.

I posted pix of him from last summer when we returned from his movie shoot and he met HIS kids for the first time. They were 2 months old and just ready to head to their new homes. He played with them for a couple hours and they were quickly following him around and gazing up at him adoringly

He's an all-around good guy!

I love how mom is just laying back and relaxing while her babies fill their tummies up. These are beautiful pups. I had to smile at the lil story to go with it...too darn cute! Thanks for the smiles.
