I don't know what caused the little throwing up spell (My vet said she may have ate some grass or something) but she was back to her normal self..
So, I always wanted a bullie because of low exercise, nice temprement...slow walker.... I thought it was a great fit.
YEAH RIGHT!!!
Lucy has so much energy. I take her out of her crate at lunch when I go home, and she goes NUTS! She's jumping all around, running around like a fruit cake. Jumping up on my work clothes.... Why didn't enybody tell me!
By the way... I love her so much... I stare at her and wonder why her owner gave her away....
YEAH RIGHT is right
When I got Theo, I was told that they were just little cuddly teddy bears, well I have a grizzly bear. He slings his head around just like one and gets a running start and right into me. We just yell TIMBER!!
Ain[t bullies great:)
No
We stopped crating Sheldon at about 8 months. It is a kind of a funny story actually. Sheldon was house trained at about 3 months, but we still crated him when we were not home. It all started last summer when were out for the evening and came home to find Sheldon sitting on the couch contently watching t.v. He had figured out how to open the latch on his crate. After that, we gradually allowed him access to the house when we were not home. At first we confined him to the living room just for a couple of hours. Eventually he got free roam of the house all day long. He is perfect, never had an accident in the house, and has not destroyed anything. He is a very good boy

Yep, Call her Rainbow Brite. She needs another bath now.
Yep, the chalk ain't coming off either. I tried soapy wash cloth, baby wipes, she's gonna need a good old fashioned B-A-T-H!
LOL! she must look like a rainbow.
My brother recently saw a woman begging her bulldog to walk! He just sat in the middle of the sidewalk! LOL.
Lola loves to walk, so I don't have a problem there. The problem comes when she doesn't want to go up the stairs (we live on the 3rd floor) Usually, I'll just drop the leash and run up the stairs and she'll follow me, but sometimes it backfires and I have to go back downstairs with cheese. Cheese never fails! LOL

Crating older dogs is OK.
Mine is almost six now and I still crate him when I need to. This is mostly for trips and vacations that I take him with me on. As to my house, he just runs around as he pleases since he has the doggie door. (Best invention in the world!)
Still crate her at 3? Is crating a lifetime commitment?
This is interesting. You still crate Josie? I was thinking once lil Lucy gets used to the house we could leave her out with baby gates and eventually without. Is crating a lifetime commitment?
Yeah, she's a bit hyper and STUBBORN!!!! She lays down on the si
Lucy's birthday is tomorrow. She'll be 1 year old. When she pulls that jumpin around stuff, we'll go for a walk or play this game where I try to steal her Nylabone and she runs away to keep it from me. That tuckers her out, then she chews/chews/chews on the bone and goes right to sleep.
But she cna be a real pistol sometime. You tell her to sit, and she'll do it... IF she feels like it.
Yesterday she decided to lay on some chalk drawings that these little girls were drawing on the side walk. Now she's yellow, pink and green. She wouldn't get up either....
Josie is the same
When we come home or let her out of her cage in the morning she does that runing jumping thing but has calmed down a little now she is 3.
Lola is super energetic..
around other dogs and children. People always tell me they've never seen such an energetic dog. Usually if she's a little too hyper at home, i'll take her for a long walk or to the park and she'll be super tired when we get home. How old is Lucy?
Carolina & Lola
Del Ray does the same thing....
When I get home from work, she goes insane! She runs so fast around and around and then starts jumping on the furniture...banking off the back of the couch as she flies by...it is a riot!
Deb
I can't even get in the door, because at the end of each lap she throws herself at me...lol...and wow, is she fast!
It has to make you smile though, that she is so happy to see you...
heeheehee
I read about alot of bullies being so active, we were at a pet expo recently and all the bullies we ran into were nuts, tons of energy. Spike just saunters along, taking it all in. He's low energy to the max. You gotta love them either way though
tell your brother that must have been me..and to stop laughing..
MoJo stops and sits all the time on walks we will be going along and plop hes' sitting ..won't move...just sits and gives loud sighs and looks gloomy if anyone looks at him...he loves to sit in the middle of main street here in the village the store keepers think its a hoot...ce

She can be very hyper and in your face. She gets the zoomies and runs all over the house, then she's ready for a nice sleep.I didn't think she would be so energetic either.Heather
Josie
Josie runs to her crate at night to go to sleep. I think she sleeps better. It's her den I guess. I don't know but if we say bed time she waits at the door for us to open it up and then goes in and lays down. She has free run of the house all day and just sleeps in there at night.
We have also been surprised by our 2 HYPER bullies!
We thought they would be lazy and laid back--HA! They are the most hyper dogs I know!
Love them Bullies!
