Nice Sunday Afternoon (pics)

We took a drive out to Lake Livingston today with Sweetie. It was an hour drive from home, outside of Houston. We had a great time. Sweetie had a blast chasing a few duck friends...she really thought she was going to out run them a few times. I think she was a little upset they didn't want to play with her...she just couldn't understand why not.

On our way home, we stopped and got vanilla ice cream cones (thanks for the idea, Cindy)...Sweetie was in heaven eating hers. It was a celebration for receiving the great news about her benign mammary tumor. Here are a couple pics of our day today.

No, too bad....I was preoccupied helping Sweetie with her ice cream cone, so she wouldn't get it all over the car. Her whole face was covered with ice cream...she had a ball. It was definitely a kodak moment that I missed out on.

I am glad she likes her ice cream. I can't drive past a Dairy Queen without my dogs getting excited. The ice cream is ok for the dogs but I'm having one hell of a time getting into my summer shorts!LOL
