Oh no! You guys are going to have way too much in common. It drives Steve nuts when I don't wipe counters! I clean the entire kitchen and forget the counters. He follows behind me shaking his head and wipes the counters. I do it just to bug him now!LOL
He is not a slave driver he just doesn't get how I think the kitchen is clean and leave all the crumbs behind.Ha!

my dad's a neat-nick champion...i asked my mom and she said he snores loud enough to wake the dead, and its true! last night i could hear him from my room a floor up!

we've been together since the 9th grade, and I know we both can have our moments of being 'thought challenged', but we've always gone on 80% work/ 20% grace from both sides instead of 50-50. Neither of us complains that the other's not meeting halfway, 20% grace for mistakes. Three wonderful children later,
believe me, it does get better and better.... : )

Ours is the 24th of June and it will be 5 years

I ask him to do something ,that I need done before I can do whatever else needs to be done and he says okay. And just continues to lay on the couch with me waiting. Then I say can you do it now and he says can you wait 2 min. and 23 seconds because then it will be half time. So next time I need something done right then I am just going to scream bloody murder to see if that gets in off his a**.lol

Oh yeah then on a freak whim he will decide to clean. And if I leave something in the sink unrinsed he gets so mad. He acts like he cleans the house everyday. Yeah right!

Really, I do have some pet peeves about him, like...he won't fold towels the way I want, but I realize that I am lucky he folds towels in the first place! It's give and take with us - We've been together for 5 years, married since last September -
...and I'm sure he's got peeves about me, too...but whenever I ask him, he says that I'm "perfect" - so what could I possibly have to complain about?

...and, when I really want something, (like, a bulldog, for example) - he does whatever it takes to make sure I can.

the worst is that selective male hearing he gets. Funny how they seem to go deaf when it's convenient for them to do so.

I have learned the only way to get his attention is to say I got another pair of shoes. Then, lo and behold he can hear again and goes balistic. He's only been calling me Imelda for 13 years LOL

Hubbie has never clips my wings...always excepts me for who I am...
if I had to find anything it would be that he is a turtle..moves slow in driving..or almost everything he does...

I have a ton of things I could talk about but he has to face some of you in October. You guys can't keep secrets if you tried.LOL I have been with hubby since I was sixteen years old. Let's just say that's a lot of stories. Besides it could work against me if he decided to do a little payback. My lips are sealed.

Annoying traits:

Hmmmmm, how many do you want? j/k

1) dropping clothes,items etc, whereever they are last needed or worn. Just put the stuff away!!!!!
2) no concept of time, "on my way home" is never on my way home!

That's it really, and it really doesn't annoy me that much usually. He works hard and works alot and I appreciate everything he does for me. We'll be married 5 years this month

i've never really expirienced any spouse stuff, being im only 16, but my dad does nag at me alot to pick my things up and clean my room! Does that count?

and love it.

I cannot think of anything....He always tries to give me anything I want, he always thinks of me first, he helps me with the rescues, AND HE does all of the cooking!! Nope, can't think of anything.

well, actually i cant think of much that annoys me that heidi does, seriously.

Maybe she takes things to seriously sometimes and lets them bother her for longer than they should, like work issues.

(for the record the lid is always back down) and yes you can verify this at bullyfest with heidi!....lol)

Just kidding, He is a morning person and is so loud. It is so annoying. It takes me at least 1hour and 2 cups of coffee to wake up. NOt him.

Darren would rather walk AROUND an open door or drawer than close it!!! how difficult can it be!?!? You OPEN it -> then you CLOSE it! Silly spouses! (Not to mention his wet towel on the down comforter... not a good comnbination!) I wuv him though!
