THANK YOU so much for posting this!!

I cannot even begin to say how totally ticked off I am about this - you feed raw, thinking your safe from recalls and the problems with processed kibble and then this crap!! I guess the only good thing is it is a voluntary recall and there have been no reported issues so far - but OMG I am on my 2nd bag of these patties! My faith in dog food companies are totally shattered - I'm about ready to grow a garden and raise a cow!

yes, Cathy - just venting....

and I realize there are recalls on our food all the time, just recently tomatoes - just wasn't expecting to see one so soon after switching to raw, that kind of surprised me

and no, IF I raised my own cattle or whatever, I would NOT watch what went on in a slaughter house....worked for years on a dairy farm growing up - we ate cows that had "names" all the time, it's just life and could I feed it to my dogs, oh absolutely!! LOL

they have recalls on meat for humans too

there is truly nothing 100% foolproof or 100% safe. You could have just as easily gone to the grocery store and bought meat for you and your family and had it recalled.

Cows are big smelly animals, and can you imagine killing it after raising it? I don't think I could do it, even for Audrey. I know you were just venting frustration, but seriously, can you envision the slaughter process of an animal you raised? Or any animal for that matter? I know it's hypocritcal because I DO eat meat, but I can't help it.
