I think you should really think long and hard about getting a bulldog. Washing their butts is the least of what you may need to do to give proper and good care to one of these loveable but but high care dogs. Read many of these posts about the care these dogs require and especially read the posts about rescue dogs that haven't gotten this care.
You have to take the good with the bad.
If you are going to be a responsible pet owner, then you will need to do whatever it takes to keep your dog healthy and happy. If you arent ready for that then maybe you should wait until you are. Most bully butts need cleaned... just one of the many things they need done for them.
I feel it is necessary at times
If I return from an outing with Spencer and he has a dirty tush, which is often, I give it a quick cleaning.
I use a baby wipe to clean him up

Can you make a list of reasons why you want a bulldog and then come back and post it? Doesn't have to be very long, but I'd like to see some of your thoughts if you wouldn't mind.
