What is the penalties for these charges?? And, now that they have been found guilty, does that mean the dogs can be placed into homes? I certainly hope they can't be found guilty, pay a fine and get the dogs back. Gee I wish so badly I had the room for one. My first love was a collie I had, got in 5th grade. Had her for about 11 years. Of course, her name was Lassie.

The way it reads in the newspaper, the husband and wife were EACH convicted of 180 counts of animal cruelty. That's 360 counts, with possible fines of up to $500 per count.
180,000.00 really i'd hope that they also could never own animal
