Molly Update- Some Questions..

Hey guys, first off I want to say thank you so much to everyone who is concerned and asking about Molly you have no idea what you all mean to me, when I first found this board, I never knew how many good people I would meet.

Now on to my girl She acts fine, but her cut is looking nasty, we have been applying peroxcide to it 3 times a day, as the vet recommended and putting neosporin on it, when we first started doing this it didnt seem to be bothering her, but now it seems like it hurts her badly The peroxcide is fizzing each time we apply it and the area that was pussing brown stuff is seeming to close up, which is a plus.

But the worst part of the incision that opened, is still open, we take her to the vet for another checkup Saturday, and we have been giving her the pills required for the infection.

We where goin to take her to the vet in Woodbury, but the doctor only had 2 times open which where in the morning and my hubby had to work until 1pm so it didnt work out. As of right now she is on medication, and we have been keeping her "quiet" .

Thanks for all the concerns and the best wishes, Molly and her parents really appreciate it, you guys are awesome.

We hope Molly

heal up very soon. Kisses and hugs coming her way.

Great to hear there's progress happening! I would defintely call the vet, and call the vet, and call the vet... I would also have tons of questions and better be safe than sorry - I really have no idea what to do.

Warm hugs to Molly (and you) hang in there!

Glad to hear........

that you are feeling better Molly. Diamond sends lots of hugs and kisses your way. I would call the vet if you are concerned about the peroxide. When Diamond was spayed I called the vet about three times a day; I hadn't found this board yet. To me they are children, so I didn't care if they got annoyed with me. I would definately call!!

Molly

Frannie--I'm glad to hear she is starting to heal. I'd call the vet and ask them your questions. Hang in there!

My Questions I forgot about!!

Is it safe for me to be putting peroxcide and neosporon on her cut? Should I be putting something different on it to help heal?

Hope all of this clears up soon

hope it all dries up with the antibiotics and closes up real soon!

warm compress

use a warm compress on the incision for 5 minutes 2-3 times a day. it's good that part of the incision is open, it allows the infection to drain.
she'll feel better soon
