MidAtlantic Bulldog Rescue.... a few pics

We've been extremely busy the past few months as most rescues have. We are blessed to have such a wonderful team of volunteers who care so deeply about these dogs. Here are some photos of some recent rescues. These are only a few stories from the past few weeks to share.

Chloe had no name. She was used as a mill dog and carried three litters, each litter did not survive. All three of her C-sections were NOT performed by a vet sad.gif She went in for her spay yesterday which was extremely difficult. Thank you to Cyndi her foster. She is now on the mend.

Meet Boozer. This 3 year old boy is in terrible shape with demodex that has taken most of his fur and terrible interdigital cysts that have left his paws swollen and raw. He snoozed all the way up to NJ like a little old man. Joanne has been caring for him the past week and he is in much better shape. His new adoptive family are very much looking forward to helping him get back to being a young and healthy dog.

This 14 month old was taken to a shelter to be put to sleep. His crime? He peed in the house and the owner went to hit him which he normally does to "correct" him. He went to bite him. This darling little guy has shown nothing but submissive behavior and his upbeat and sweet demeanor has won everyone's heart. He had a HUGE cherry eye and had to be neutered, we got him all fixed up this week and he is ready to get that cone off his head asap to get outside!

This little girl was looking for a new home after being passed around, she needed to be the only dog in the household. She had no medical issues and she went to her new home last week. They love her so much!

These stories never cease to amaze me

Thank goodness for people like you!!

incredible

these stories just break my heart, how can people just throw them away like garbage, but then in the end maybe its a good thing, because they finally get the love and care they deserve, I know that I am thankful every single day that my dogs were not wanted anymore, because they finally came home to me. thanks you for everything you do for these wonderful babies
