I lurk over there sometimes. The webmaster is just aweful. Do you remember Monica and George (I sure would love an update on him). Monica posted George's story over there too. The webmaster went nuts and had some harsh critisim about soldiers owning bulldogs. The webmaster is a nut job!!!

Sorry, but I haven't heard about this other site. Just curious. Could someone tell me what site this is? I've been on wonderfulworldofbulldogs.com too, and they are very friendly and helpful (like here), so it must be another site I've never heard of...hmmmmm.

about that site until now. Melissa just keep up the good work and effort, she apparently has personal issues to deal with not you!!

I'm sad to say that when I bought my first bulldog,that was the only site I found to go to. I felt nothing but regret and shame on that site. They made me feel like such an awful person for having a bulldog puppy and 2 babies at the same time(and God forbid I didn't buy from a "reputable" breeder!!)I ended up giving my beloved 10month old puppy away because they convinced me that was the right thing to do. I regretted it ever since. They are VERY into their Bulldog showing over there,and they really look down on anyone that's not a member of a Bulldog Club. Sadly Linda has been battling cancer and I don't wish that on anyone. I try not to read her post because she doesn't seem to like anything. She's even against people bringing bulldogs together because she says that just promotes bad breeding. Oh well,live and learn huh?? I'm SO happy I have found this site. Even though I don't post too often, I assure you I read posts off and on all day(I'm obssessed!) I love seeing everyone's bullies!!!

Wow-I am sorry Melisa it is not fair when good people get slammed for doing something wonderful! I am sorry I don't live closer otherwise I would be there myself!

Also-I must say this board is wonderful-sometimes u dont appreciate what a kind and loving group of people this is until you read other boards!

Sheesh!! After reading everyone's posts I had to see for myself. WOW! I am SHOCKED! I am seriously re-considering joining the BCNC. Whoa... If this Linda person is any indication of what that club is about? FORGET IT!!

Shame on me, I assumed it would be a place much like here, "where everybody knows your name... And they're always glad you came..." How dare I think that one would be greated with a warm welcome.
