Male bulldogs verses female bulldogs as PETS.....discussion..what are your thoughts?

Male bulldogs verses female bulldogs as PETS.....discussion..what are your thoughts?

Bella the female is far more reserved.
she is very active but not a funny bully like Gus.
she had lots of bulldog antics but NOT like Gus either
she is also not near as cuddly as Gus is either..
Bella is more into herself..and she is for sure happier playing the pugs then myself..
Gus on the other hand
is household clown..always
he is really cuddly
a funny bully that makes me laugh each day..
he is full of bulldog antics and truly a great bulldog to be around..all the time.
Gus is happiest when he is with a family member..
he is truly happy just lounging out and watching tv with you..
where Bella prefers to be busy with something
lets discuss male verses female bulldogs as pet
do you have a perference..??
love all the bullies and both of mine the same but it is Gus that makes me giggle all the time
I for sure would get another bulldog male in the future..
well likely a female too..they kinda compliment each other..
males only becasue.....
it see seems the girls always fight...wont share toys always in a mood.....where as any male dog i have had are easy going....share...one of the reasons i think this is....the boys always have a alpha leader and are content....where as the girls dont pick an alspha leader and thus are always fighting for the spot....![[linked image]](http://www.network54.com/Realm/tmp/1264007975.JPG)

wilson and charlie not neutered and enjoying the sun together
snoozing together....
wilson is 2 years old and charlie is about 11 months...was a rescue and came to me at 5 months....

I have always preffered male dogs, to me they are generally less pushy ("bitchy"), more silly and more outwardly affectionate than females. I know there are tons of exceptions of course, but this is just my preference. Between Andrew and I we have 5 male dogs! LOL

Bella is still cuddly but on her own terms
I love them both the same here
just a different personality ...
both have great temperments....
just really opposite personalities..
Bella really was more of the cuddle bug, happy to sit with you type of bulldog before the pugs came along and then she went into a MOMMY mode..and that was that.. she is very happy playing with the pugs.and so on.
Far more of a pack animal then Gus..
Well your Bella and Gus
are completely opposite of my girls and boys.
My girls are very funny, Ester is very outgoing and they both are very snuggly.
The boys are still funny but not nearly as snuggly.
Sounds like gender doesn't matter as much as the individual temperment and personality of the individual dog.

I think they each have their own qualities, Lily is my cuddlebug, she thinks the cord is still attached,she loves to be with me, she will follow me room to room, she has to be touching me any time we are on the couch together, she can be a really funny girl, gets the zoomies all the time,

as for Rocky, I am really not sure what he is like, he has just be so sick that I dont think he is really himself, he is just learning to get close, that it is ok to rest his head on my lap, he does love to play with balls though, doesn't matter what size,
I dont thn I can choose but one thing is for sure, I will never be without a bulldog or 2,
