Maggie's hives... ...and Ce..

..have cleared up just fine.. She had a Benadryl last night and slept like a log.. I think Denise was correct in suggesting Maggie got overly excited when we got home and just "overdid" it.. ..either that or she reacted to the babywipes I cleaned her up with when we got home.. ..my stepson evidently didn't clean wrinkles, creases or tailpockets when we were gone.. and she may have reacted to the wipes.. anyway, she is fine now and I truly appreciate last night's replys and Denise's guidance through "allergic-reaction-trauma-for-the-distraught-bulldog-mother!"

I totally kick myself today though... we took off early this morning and drove to Hood River, Oregon which is world famous for windsurfing in the Columbia River Gorge. We attended a windsurfing gear swap-meet and had a picnic along the gorge and watched the wind- and kite-surfers all afternoon. Maggie went with us and we had an absolute blast. She was so much fun and the weather was perfect! Did mom have the camera..?? NO!!!

...Just imagine Maggie, sharing a foot-long hoagie with John, high up on the cliffs overlooking the Columbia River with a backdrop of surfers jumping the waves in a 30 knot wind in the gorgeous afternoon sun. ...NO CAMERA..!!! AARRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!
