re: shedding
I AM GUESSING THAT WITH THE CHANGE OF WEATHER IT IS JUST THE WINTER COAT. IS SHE ON ANY TYPE OF VITAMINS? THEY HELP. DID YOU CHANGE HER FOOD? IS SHE NOT GETTING THE PROPER NUTRIENTS? MY GUESS IT IS JUST THE WINTER COAT IF YOU ANSWERED NO TO THE QUESTIONS ABOVE.

Thanks guys :) Also, have found a couple pimple like things on h
one on her leg, doesnt look like much just a little pimple like thing, and a couple on her tummy, a total of maybe 6 on her body, what is this from?
Grover sheds a LOT year-round! =)
I know "they" say bullies aren't big shedders compared to Goldens and long-coated dogs, but I think we've all just come to the conclusion that bulldogs are big shedders. And because they don't have two coats that, say, labs do, they shed year round instead of seasonally. They're not getting rid of a winter, protective coat. They're just dropping fur to regenerate new stuff.
It's exhausting!

I'm sure she's totally fine... and it's just something you're going to have to live with. I used to vacuum and Swiffer every single day. I have SOOOOO given that up!
But keep brushing her... I know those rubber hand-held brushes are good. I can't think of what they're called... they look like they're meant for horses. Curry brush? Something like that.
And you can always add supplements. We give Grover Lipiderm for his baldness at the moment.
Julia
No supplements...
She has quite a coat on her though thats one thing alot of people say whenever they are looking at her, but I never expected her to be shedding so much, I mean I brush her with a flea/tick comb and have alot of hair come out on it ...
Winter coat
It could be just a seasonal shed Do you give her any suppliments like Lipiderm
Frannie...
I live in Jersey City - how about you? I am experiencing the same thing with Tank. No matter how much I brush him, the hair just won't stop coming off (I use the brush that looks like it is for horses).
Although some bullies seem to shed year-round (as is obvious from some of the posts), I have not experienced this with Tank yet. When I brushed him in the colder months, only some hair came off and the second time I'd brush him, practically nothing would come off. I'm not saying he doesn't shed at all, but it is UNBELIEVABLE now how much hair comes off this guy. All he has to do is a good shake and the hair is flying!!!!!!
I have read about the supplements, but every morning Tank takes one dermcap, two glucosamine, and a vitamin. How much more drugs can he handle? I don't know and I am reluctant to give him anymore than he is already on.
Hi! Where in NJ are you from?
I know Molly has quite a coat on her, thats all people used to say about her when we brought her home, she can littlerally roll on her back and just move back and forth stricktly on her coat without even moving on the floor .. lol but shes sheddin like mad and I keep thinking maybe we need to brush her more, but each time we brush her it just keeps coming off, I mean she doesnt have any bald spots, but she is shedding!
boy do i know what you're talking about!!!!!
I am in New Jersey as well and Tank is shedding like a maniac.
