Lola TPLO Bone Healed!

Well we went in to have Lola's bone checked for her 8 week post TPLO surgery and the bone is completely healed.. SHe has great ROM and is able to start short frequent walks.. She also can do stairs in a controlled manner.. Sure she will not be happy about that as she loves the free ride I was giving her..

Her personality has changed so much just by taking down the xpen.. Vet says she needs to build her leg muscle back up and before long she will be approved for Zoomies.. I am still a little worried about the other knee but it is what it is..

I am glad I did the surgery because she really was in a lot of pain and it caused her hip to be sore too because it had to work harder to support her..It was a rough first few days but thanks to all that helped me through it..

Wonderful news...so happy for Lola!

Thanks for this too, as it will encourage others to do the needed repair when their dog is in pain. happy.gif

dave fantastic news!

i'm so happy lola is doing better! stella is a little over 3 months past now and i feel like just recently she really turned a corner and is using her surgery leg equally now. it seems like such a slow process doesn't it?
