Here's a post from just after they were born:

And, here's a fun story we did called "Chairman of Da Board: Part 1-Board Review" from Gabe's first meeting with his pups...

...and the sequel story, "Part 2: Board Certified!"

The litter had six pups originally--3 males, 3 females, but they lost one of the males in the first couple days. The bigger male was sold to Bonnie Judd of Canine CoStars (the animal coordinator we worked for during Gabe's movie shoot) & will be trained to work as a double for his Daddy in The Dogfather sequels The female with the "eyebrow" markings stayed with the breeder, one male lives just south of us & the two other girls, Gabby & Angel, are co-owned by me & live in Oregon.
And, a fun pic of the girls from when they were staying with me
This one cracks me up--I call it "Grumpy Ol' Gals" cuz it reminds me of Jack Lemon & Walter Matthau!
Seven weeks old...
in the first part. Luna was a couple weeks older in the portion taken in the yard.

I have seen it!
I love watching bulldogs on youtube! I think the sound was turned off because you tube is very picky about copyrighted music.

Cathy
when she first came home
great video
truly enjoyed seeing it again
that is totally amazing
how old are the pups in the video??
she is a very beautiful lady!
no wonder the pups look so good.

I think it's a GREAT idea...
often SMART dogs are the "trouble-makers"...they NEED a job to do or they'll be obnoxious! Giving them some positive way to get attention and create more of a bond with you is great--and they can also learn to do a positive behavior (ie sit/stay when someone comes to the door) rather than jump up and race around in circles. Be sure to reward the GOOD behavior & not subtly reinforce the bad (ie petting the dog when they jump up, feeding treats at the table or when they are no longer sitting, etc.) Reward them WHEN they are doing the desired behavior and it'll reinforce the behavior you want!

Link to video of training my pups...
My son took the sound off this video for some reason, so you can't hear all that's going on, but some of it is obvious

Since we are on the topic of Gabe..and puppies and so on........
what do you think of this Cheryl.
I bought a book yesterday called the only trick book you will ever need.
I read some of the chapters and it explains that dogs that learn simple tricks and more complicated ones are far more relaxed.
I bought it to add to the bully box for Bryan..but am thinking of trying some of these on a very active PUG. she is 2 and very very active. thought some training might calm her down some. your thoughts??
I trust your opinion on this ..

The Momma was a local bully gal...
She is white with a red patch by her one eye. The vets had always commented on how healthy she was--and she has some great bloodlines so I thought she'd be a good compliment to Gabe...and she was
Her name's "Princess". Here's a pic of her...

I'm actually working on doing a basic training DVD that I will have available to purchase on my website in a few months--I'll probably use these little gals as "actresses" in the video
My hubby's been REALLY pushing me to do this, especially with Gabe's movie coming out--so, I guess I'll have to get off my duff and do it!
