I finally got Bella to roll over for some belly rubs. first time in over 3 years. she normally does not like them at all. and does not like to be rolled over.. with her belly up.. I have yet to get a pic of her ever belly up for that matter.. Last night was a first for Bella that she actually enjoyed the rub on her belly.
Gus on the other hand is all about the belly rubs. you can belly rub him the whole day. as soon as he feels my hand in his side..he is right upside down..
HE TOTALLY LOVES THEM....
but NOT Bella...
thought all dogs LOVED bella rubs..lol. I have one pug that does not like them either..but the other two love them.
and your bulldog?
nay or yay?
the gang loves some belly rubbings Sugar didn't
care much to do anything when we got her...but she is into the belly rubs now...

here too..they all liked to be rubbed..just not the belly for Be
and not her butt..lol
she wears a sign that says do not touch..lol big sign..lol
geee and Pollyanna is a rescue..wow that is great...to hear
that is good to hear
that means she totally trusts you and very comfortable
belly rubs puts a dog any breed in a vunerable spot..
I think that is why Bella does not like it
Gus does on his own..just rolls up
such a cute sig..and sooooooooooooo sad looking..lol
great sig
he reminds of me of Ozzie on here when I look at him
such a cute bully..
Gus will roll up on his own too..
soooooooo darn cute..PIC
great pic
I love rubbing Gus too
he really likes it
LOL cute pic
NO would not say that Bella is a dominant bulldog but she does not like to be vunerable either..
it is just her I think. some things she is very leary about and her belly is one of them..she sure does not ever roll up for a bella rub..ever.
remi loves em!
Is bella more dominant? Most dominant dogs are very anti roll on there back...puts them in a very vulnerable position. Remi, is a HUGE belly rub lover. He rolls over on his own for them, and he rolls over on que just because its cute and i want him to lol

haha remi givin up the belly when he was a baby
Re: Last thread today..lol is it a NAY OR YAY to belly rubs for
as long as you have some physical contact at all, they are all happy.LOL
much bully love~Christine, Dupree, Marley and Savannah
Atlas loves the belly monster
That is what we have always called belly rubs. He will sometimes roll over on his back like "hey there, um, belly rubs please".

Cheryl & Atlas
Thank goodness!
Perhaps now we can have a normal bdw....where I can read the posts before another 100 topics are asked and put up.
Diana, Mattingly and Jeter
PollyAnna likes them
she loves belly rubs and when you tell her to "let me rub your belly" she flops over and lets you do it. Hank not so much - he doesn't much care for rolling over. My miniature pinschers Penny and Delilah like belly rubs too!

Gia loves belly rubs
I wake her up every morning to her morning belly rub. I love rubbing her belly as much as she loves getting them.

mack and stella both love belly rubs, especially stella, that silly girl is always laying belly up!
Bella is the same..on her side..belly rubs she is fine...
Bella really does not like to roll over at all..
funny how they are soo different the bullies like that
Gus and Bella are total opposites on the belly rubs
and Gus is top dog..so does not make that much sense really
With Stella
Only on her own terms. She doesn't like being rolled over either. So often, they are side belly rubs.
Ha!...Remy's the "clown" around here too!...
You could have a point there Pat!

MY rescue pug is finally getting into them too..Gus is awesome..
but Bella..she sure does not care for them at all..
ever.
only last night..was the first time and that was not for long..lol
curious if the more playful bullies roll easier...???
Gus is very playful around the house..and playful in general
Bella is more reserved but actually more active then Gus..
Gus is also the bully that is full of bulldog antics..the house clown..lol
Definitely a YAY for Remy!!---
He'll roll on his back anytime for a belly rub.

The others like 'em too, but you have to kind of coax them to get belly up.
