Keyboard shortcut question r.e. using space bar
Submitted by Anonymous on September 20, 2003 - 7:00pmDamn, just typed a long post and it disappeared into the Twilight Zone.
Okay, I can't believe I only discovered a couple of nights ago that if you are at the top of the message board, or anywhere above the bottom, all you have to do is hit your space bar to move down a half page or so of messages. This is great for someone with a laptop. Is this common knowledge??
Also, to go to a web site not included in your Favorites list, you can just type in the name of the web site in the address window without all that http stuff or even the .com, then hit Control+Enter and it fills all the other stuff in for you and takes you to the site.

I did not know about the space bar thing. That is something good to know.
I did know about the typing in of the web site without the full URL, but I thought that everyone knew that!

I just learned how to paste and post, but I haven't tried it yet. I see some people are changing fonts. How do they do that? Some people are doing power point presentations. How do they do that? Some people have cool little cartoons next to their name. How do they do that?
