them missing a vit or enzyme in their diet....they re eat their stool trying to absorb the missing element....i suggest putting them on vit c...and a probitic also some yogurt.... i never had a poop eater feeding raw..but a kibble fed dog i baby sat for was a horrible one...i swiched them to raw with vit c and yougurt and in a week they stopped that awful habit....
Only let him outside on a leash and pick it up right away. Praise if he will, "leave it!" And give a probiotic like Prozyme on his food. It helps promote nutrient absorption which is supposed to make the dog less interested in eating poop.
We did this with Bentley and he stopped eating poop. Can walk right by it now without even a sniff. It did take a couple of weeks.

I don't rescue animals because I want to feel better about myself, or morally superior to anyone. The best part of my life with animals is the humility they teach and the humanity the foster.

Oh my!
Maybe try going out with him whenever he potty's from now until he gets that poop is not for eating?
Can you take him on leash for potty time?
Sorry I am not more helpful.
