I took Dozer for our first "official" walk in our new neighborhood since moving. And i had a random person come up to me and ask "what kind is he?" i always think it's obvious he's a bulldog but people always ask, maybe it's his size or the fact that he has soft floppy ears, but people always ask that and it makes me laugh. On the bright side we had a nice walk before the winter storm comes in and ruins it for the next week with snow and ice.
Nothing like a good long walk and a lounge in the shade.
I love that comparison, Judy :) My two do not smell as sweet as
are as precious as one

It amazes me too
I know,I had someone ask me if my Frenchie was a pug! I have had people ask me if mine were American Bulldogs and they are clearly English. I just don't think people know the bulldog as well as they do the more common breeds that all their friends have. Go figure!!

One little kid asked his mom is Stella was a pig!
The mother was horrified. I totally cacked up (the kid was about 3 years old, so come on!).
In his defense, she was sniffing at him and grunting...
That's hilarious!
I've had people ask me if Stella was a sharpei (oh please).
I get that all the time, with my Lola, but that's because she ha
She's a little long legged, but your boy is quite the Bulldog, hard to mistaken for anything else.
Next time...
tell them he's a poodle...hahaha

Funny but lots of people don't know much about dogs...
However, a Bulldog is like a Rose. People who don't know anything about flowers can still identifiy a Rose. I'd think they could recognize a Bully too. LOL

BE MY VALENTINE
how could anyone mistake that face????
he is so bully it's ridiculous lol!

WHen Dozer was in his awkward teen phase...
People asked if he was a pit all the time, he has the longest legs and is quite tall for a bullie. at almost 70lbs he is a little out of the "normal" weight range and since he's tall he throws people off,lol..

One time
I had someone ask me if Onslow was a pug. LMAO Have you ever seen a 60 lb white pug? hahahahaah

Or they ask, 'What kind of bulldog is that?"
I tell them that it's an English Bulldog, but they're just called bulldogs now. I think people are a little afraid of American bulldog or pitbulls but know that the English kind are sweethearts. (Also, hardly anyone know about Frenchies.)
But, wherever the bullie goes, so goes attention.
Re: It still amazes me...
LOL... people are nuts!
