I son called..
yea there was ice..10 feet thick and yea the waves were 14 feet high and yea MOM was having a hissy fit..and glad to hear from him and scared out of mind this past while..but
what ??????
he called NOT to talk to me until he talked to Bella first..LOL
he said Bella keeps him on the positive..
when he is having rough day at sea..he just looks at her pics he carries and then he is much better.

well they did get stranded for 16 hours in indiana..but the coast guard only works for 8 hours a day and then they go home..if the coast guard worked the night and day they could have gotten them out...but in the end they ended up banging themselves out.. all tugs are ice breakers themselves.
they were met with the hospitality of Indiana ship ladies..a group that supports ship workers that are stranded and brought the tug free gifts and such too. they were also layed up in Indiana once they got out due to the high NORTH winds..

they are now in Sault St. Marie on the homebound stretch but the waves were high and the ice is thick and they are postponed due to another ship ahead of them that is stuck ..now. so they can not pass them so they need to wait till the other ship is free from the ice

NOT my idea of cooooooooooooool job..lol
he KNEW that I would call the company..but in the end it was weather delay after another delay and so on. plus no phone service in some places and in the STATES he turns off the the phone due to roaming charges.

Bella was thrilled as I was to get a phone call..
Bellas tag wagged as my eyes lit up
Bella does good on the phone..Bryan says..she LISTENS really well..lol.
funny how she perks right Up when she hears his voice
and what a bond..that he talks to his BULLY FIRST...
