Bread & (thick) Butter every morning ?

Berkeley has to have a teaspoon of fish oil every day and putting it on bread & butter has been the most successful way to give it to him........ but he has just developed a sore ear and I'm wondering if it could be the butter ??

He is on a diet of cooked brown rice, vegies and raw chicken

and the only other thing he gets is the wholemeal bread with butter so I can give him his fish oil !!

Does he normally do well with grains etc.,?

I used to have to use bread to give Onslow ivermectin too, we used it without butter though and he was fine. I think it depends on the individual dog and what it's allergic too. They're all different.
