Is it normal for the incision spot to scab a little?
Submitted by ahil29 on April 20, 2010 - 5:26pmAbby has a little scabbing along her incision site after being spayed. Is that normal? And she also has really bad breath. Yuck!!

She doesn't really care for me looking at her belly right now, but when I peek, it does look like there is some slight scabbing. Of course, it could be dirt from her lying on the ground too--who knows! Besides her bouts of diarrhea, her post-spay condition seems to be A-OK. As for the bad breath? Can't help ya there--sorry!
