i very whole heartedly think that kids from upbringings like that (which is very similar to my child hood - as my mother was very young when she had me and didn't have much money at all) are much more appreciative of life in general. Nothing good ever comes from spoiling a child in a way where they think there is no other way of living. We don't have a lot of money, we rent, we do have a car payment, and separate cars, but we make it by. We enjoy life just as much (if not more) the some that have more then we do! As far as im concerned, as long as we're healthy, and have a roof over our head, all we need is each other and everything else will be fine!

because we didn't have anything when we had kids that we needed $$ to keep. No big house,we rented one for very little money, no car payments, we had one old one we shared, we were living a MINIMAL existance but still getting by. The house, the cars came later as the finaces got better. I can tell you my kids love each other just as much in the tiny house as they do in the bigger one, and they NEVER noticed and didn't miss when they were young the things we couldn't get for them.

i love being home with him, not to mention i just don't like the idea of paying somebody else to raise him if i can do it myself. I totally understand not everybody has the option to stay at home, but it just makes me all the more grateful that i do stay at home with him!

and I never once regretted that decision. Of course my kids are 24, 18 and 15 years old now. But if I had a chance to do it all over again, even knowing the financial hardship it was going to be, I wouldn't change staying at home with them.

haha i never noticed it, but it may be a tear! My sons name is Oliver Eli hes such a good little boy! I'm so glad i get to stay home with him & remi! They're so much fun.

anytime I open pics from you my heart will flutter a bit. AWWWW! Is that a tear I see in that last pic? What is your son's name? That last pic is PRECIOUS!!!!!

I love it! Remington has such a good basket of potential nicknames! It can be a fun name, or a sophisticated regal bulldog name its perfect!

i agree, it is a great lens for just about everything. for dogs i LOVE my wider angle lenses too. Dog + wide angle = adorable!!

Thanks! I have an in home studio. I shoot with a Nikon D300, im looking to get a few new lenses to add to my collection. What do you shoot mostly? I always love finding other bulldoggers and photographers

I am both as well ! A perfect combination ! what camera do you shoot with ? do you have a studio ? I want to add high key in my studio !! I have the 50mm 1.8 lens as well , but tend to always use my 24-70 2.8 lens the most . I will have to pull the 50 out more often Remi is adorable and so is your son !

I love my 50! What do you shoot with? I totally feel you! i cant wait to be able to get outside and NOT freeze again! Remi LOVES the beach so it should be fun this summer!

I am self taught, i always played around with cameras growing up, but got into it pretty heavily when my son was born three years ago. I insisted we have nice photos of him, and am so thankful because hes grown so fast, and now i have made a career that im passionate from it! Its perfect, it gives me the flexibility to be able to stay hom with Oliver and Remi

thanks i have the one of them looking at each other blown up 11x14 hanging on the wall, next to another shot just after that when remi gave Oliver a kiss, and then one of remi sitting in black and white, all lined up, its adorable!!

I usually use my 50mm 1.8, but i have a few, the 50mm is by far the most used though.

I love Rembo, he is gorgeous, and that is such a cute nickname for him.
