Internet Etiquette on bulldog sites

First and foremost, this is my favorite bulldog website on the internet. I have benefitted from its wonderful bulldog and heir owners immensely in the past five months. I am also new to using the internet.

Here is my dilemna:

I belong to a bulldog club and receive their newsletter. I read a wonderful bulldog poem and it cited the website it was taken from.

I was wondering whether or not it is permissable to share this site with all of the people here at bulldogsworld. After all, I do not wish to insult anyone here at this site and yet, it seems as if it has other useful types of information too - like collectibles and other links and I think it might be useful for other bulldog collectors during the holiday season.

It's just that others have helped me out so much and I enjoy all of the information I get here...and maybe I could give back a little to the newest bulldog owners!

So, what does everyone think?

It's probably stupid to ask, but again, being new to the internet, I just want to do the right thing. Sorry this is so long.

SUSAN-OTHER BULLDOG SITES+++

Hi Susan,
Feel free to go ahead and post the site, sounds like it may be a common site and well worth the post. The main objective of the policy up there is to avoid "some" people posting links to the greater bullodog club of the western world...lol..and totally false sites with stuff that offers for sale directly puppies to benefit one or two breeders of which likely don't belong to any club. That is the only reason for that rule. We started out 2 years ago with no rules, everyone just kind of did the human thing. Then we got a few "Goofies"....lol..who blew it all for us all. Most of the other bulldog sites I'm friends with the webmasters and don't mind there link, feel free to go for it. Just make sure there is no offer of sale of puppies on the front page staring right at you. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Like Buying Software?

Kind of like when we buy software... ever read that stuff? LOL

I understand the new Windows version has some gems...

Thanks Jerry -

It was right in front of me all along! I only pass by that part 5 times a day! Sue

Head of The Page

Suzanne,

I don't have a say, but at the head of the page in this forum may be found the instructions and limits associated with posting a link.

If you have a question in your mind, it tells you how to get approval.
