MY girlfriend and I get together for coffee here and there.. and we made the decision that it is GREAT if she comes here...
MY bulldogs and pugs are great with all strangers in the house
once they see I am ok..they are FINE TOO..in fact more then fine..they would love you if you came..very great with people.
but if you came with your bulldog..I would have to meet you on the road lol for a visit. MY bulldogs are not ok with some dog coming into their home.
if they see another dog out for a walk they are fine..with that too.
My girlfriend has a dog at her home.. MY dogs walk with her dog and it is fine. I can take my bulldogs to my girlfriends house and her dog is fine..but not the other way around..go figure that??lol
what about your bullies
would they welcome me?
what my bulldogs visiting your home?
god, i need to talk to lynn... i have the exact same problem wit
my mom won't let me bring the dogs home anymore b/c of eliza's behavior.

Re: IF I came to visit you..would your bulldogs Welcome me??lol
My toy dogs wouldn't like it..but charlie wouldn't let you go..
he would love to have friends his size to play with
kibby and gabby would bark at you through the door...
like a fat lipped bully bark and an old dry voice senior dog bark would scare anyone!!! but once you open it, it will be all LOVE...

especially if you are holding any type of bag... somehow kibby has gotten the idea that anytime we have groceries, that there will be a toy in there for her... of course, most everytime we have to go to petfood express, we will have to get her one... so now, she remembers and will always search and shake down your bags for any stuffed animals, with sqeakers of course.
both gabby and kibby will be so excited that you come in, they will both go get you a welcoming present (pile of stuffed animals, or whatever is laying on the floor, slippers, socks) and bring it to you!
Mine would go nuts!
All three bombard anyone that comes through the door! Won't leave them alone - constantly up in their face looking for one on one attention. After anyone has been there for I guess about 20 minutes or so they finally calm down. If anything they OVER FRIENDLY!
Pat you would be ver welcome here by all of them, but your
dogs now.......that would be another story, probably not, with 8 they are a pack and don't like others to come in.
come visit Fl and find out! Ha! :)
You would be greeted with slopping kisses from the 3 !Dupree will want to kiss your face..Marley would be sniffing you like crazy!!!Dupree maybe hesistant with Gus as he is leary about male dogs coming on his turf, but you, with Bella would be fine!
much bully love~Christine, Dupree, Marley and Savannah
that dreaded smell the butt routine..lol Bella does that too str
all the time
do not notice it with Gus
funny how they are soo different..really
Spanky sounds like he would fine with them in the house too ..
wish Bella and Gus were..like that as well
Bella would be the same too..BRING your own JOLLY ball..lol
that is cute..
Bella and Gus are not great on new dogs in the house though..not sure why
they would be fine coming to your house though Deb
really makes no sense..lol
I have not done it with the pugs..but tried it with the bullies.
it was not going to work out for sure..
the pugs would be fine though I think
interesting...
thought might need to be queen FIGURED out first..lol
good response..
Once your dog figured out that Maybull is queen, everything woul
Or, Maybull would simply ignore your dog.
Hurley is happy to see anyone who visits
which is good and bad. She gets SO excited to see everyone!

We haven't had anyone bring a dog into our house so I'm not sure how she would react.

Yes, she is a trainer
and she posts here. I am fairly new here myself, and she has been very kind in helping me.

Cathy
when she first came home
Thank You....
we bullysat 2 Bulldogs this past summer for 4 days and they were fine. I also foster for Bulldog Rescue sometimes.
Spanky would welcome you
Spanky has a ferocious bark for a knock or doorbell, but when he sees a person is at the door (whether a known person or a stranger) he is sooooo happy! We decided the bark was his way of telling us "Hurry up, someone is here to love on me!" He will escort the visitor to the living room and sit beside him/her during the entire visit. He will look up at the visitor with adoring eyes, just begging to be petted (as if he never gets attention from us!). He will ocasionally take his woobie and place it on the visitor's foot.
He is happy having other dogs on leashes visit his front yard, but has never had doggie guests inside "his" house. He is really interested in smelling other dogs, but sometimes the other dogs don't want to be smelled and run away (especially the small dogs).
what a nice pic..
love the markings
and the colour of the bullies
great pic
sounds like your house might be just the one to visit..lol
are they ok with other dogs too??
Re: My Welcoming Committee....***PIC***

who is Lynn?
who is this Lynn everybody is mentioning? she must be great, is she a trainer?

Gus's MOMMY gets it....really cute response..Cathy..
it is really funny how the bullies can put up the haunches to someone coming in yet be fine out on the street with them..or in the other dogs homes..they know.as long as it not their home.lol
Bella was super at obedience too
just protective maybe..
rhyme was a cute response
Lynn is helping me too!
with my bitchy girl.

Thanks again Lynn!
Cathy
when she first came home
that all depends on HOW you come in
if you come in calmly and let Audrey sniff you first she will most likely love to play with you. There have been a few people she just hasn't liked, she is a picky girl. One of them was a guy my daughter later thought she wanted to date. When it just didn't work out, I told her that since Audrey didn't like him she should have known better!

Your dogs, on the other hand........
she would not like them in a house,
she would not like them with a mouse,
she would not like them here or there,
she would not like them anywhere,
she would not like new dogs to see,
she does not like them Gus' Mommy
Cathy
when she first came home
my pugs are totally opposite here..they would let anyone, anythi
just the bulldogs
that do not like dogs coming in for a visit..lol
they must just be protective or something..
MY bullies are such people dogs so....it seemed strange
but sounds like there are few more out there on the board the same too
haha
certainly! remi would welcome you all with open...arms? paws? lol, either way, im sure he'd be happy!

no problem
but whoever had Rocky brofre the backyard breeder got him, loved him to death, he is such a well mannered boy, gentle as the day is long, if he did not have all these health issues, he would be a perfect boy, but he is perfect to me.
![[linked image]](http://i333.photobucket.com/albums/m389/ammamom2008/GetAttachment1.jpg)
hahaha agree..but at least I COULD COME TO VISIT you...lol
at least your bulldog would let me in and let my bulldogs in..lol
great response..
thanks
sounds like you have a great bulldog there
very cute response...the bully cookie Jar....
made me laugh
hump me and bite me..
that is not a good thing
guess I have to meet you outside of the house too Annie
thanks for your imput
remi would!
Remi does very well accepting people into our home, he gives em a good sniff (depending on their energy) he may try to jump, but if you ignore it he stops and usually just sits and waits for a but scratch or head pat. He does well with other dogs here also, he mostly wants to play with them but once i tell him he needs to chill, hes fine, as long as the other dog is relaxed too. if they get him hyped up he'd try to play again for sure, but definitely never any aggression.

lol sounds to me like your bully thinks YOUR house is THEIR house haha.
thanks..interesting responses..I agree..
thanks for the compliment..
I love to hear different responses from everyone ..
This was a good question Pat
Interesting to read the responses - nobody has ever asked that in the four years I've been here.
![[linked image]](http://dl5.glitter-graphics.net/pub/174/174565ambhsf7yu0.gif)
some can be bitchy..lol..thanks for clearing the air Penny
the post made me shake my head though..
I know that Rocky did not have all that socialization before..
so guess I assumed it would be him..
lol
OH OH CUJO..even..lol
that could be mine though too
they really do not like other dogs here at all..
how is Hank with other dogs on the streets though??
lol
until she gets to know you, and then she is your best friend, we are having behavioral issues with Lily, I have spoken with Lynn several times now, so Lily is a work in progress, Not alot of people get to see the gentle loving side of her, but it is there, just well hidden behind the bitchy side of her.
![[linked image]](http://i333.photobucket.com/albums/m389/ammamom2008/GetAttachment1.jpg)
wow..that is unreal..
such a difference in the bulldogs
at first I thought it was a socialization issue..
but the bullies are great with other dogs as long as they are not in the house here.
they do love all people
not sure they would really protect me..lol
but likely they would push comes to shove..
if I let someone in though...they would be welcoming them with open paws..guaranteed..
The car/truck
Onslow has growled once in the truck but only when this lady had big bags that she was adjusting in her hand before she was trying to reach in (without asking first). It's weird that he does that but now that I know he can be this way I just tell people not to touch him unless I bring him out first. Can't say I blame him, he doesn't know what was in that ladys hand. Some people are kind of dumb to just think it's ok to reach into someones car!
![[linked image]](http://dl5.glitter-graphics.net/pub/174/174565ambhsf7yu0.gif)
When you said that about you all going in the street and coming in - they are pretty similar!! LOL
HOLY cow..thought it would be Rocky..not LILY that would eat me.
that is really amazing.
did not get the feeling from your posts..
guess your house is out for a visit..lol
thanks for your reply

Humm I would, but....
I would love to have you over for a visit, and Penny, Delilah, and PollyAnna and Hank would be happy too. But with other dogs Hank turns into CUJO and PollyAnna can be snappy at first but then would love to play.

Zoey is exactly the same way!
Away from home, she is fine.....at home, she will BITE! And if we are in the car and someone reaches in to pet her, she will bite!

![[linked image]](http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd291/FFZoey305/librlogo-1.jpg)
Must be the Olde English way of life
not in your life
Lily would eat you but rocky would sleep ruight through it,
![[linked image]](http://i333.photobucket.com/albums/m389/ammamom2008/GetAttachment1.jpg)
Lily has issues with people and animals, Rocky is the complete opposite, he would lick you to death and have a good chance as he loves to sit on your feet.
Not the first time
He needs to meet people the first time somewhere away from the house. Otherwise I'd have to put him in the back room before you came in. After he knows you its no problem.
![[linked image]](http://dl5.glitter-graphics.net/pub/174/174565ambhsf7yu0.gif)
I had a guy (my dads cousin) try to walk in once without knocking and Onslow cornered him - (Onslow doesn't know this guy). He'd never bite but he wouldn't let the guy in until we came in the room. I have to watch him carefully on our property with strangers.
At a park or something is a whole different story - he loves people and animals away from his territory. Total different dog at home vs. neutral territory.
Cain would....
welcome you and bring you right over to the bulldog treat jar. Friday (Cocker Spaniel) would try to hump you and Zoey would bite you!

![[linked image]](http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd291/FFZoey305/librlogo-1.jpg)
Yup, Zoey has to meet you in the street and then we all have to walk in together into the house. If you just walked in, we would have a major problem!!
Thank God we don't have anyone that does that!
Now, as far as your dogs go, your doggies are welcome to help rearrange the furniture in the livingroom like Cain and Zoey do every night!! lol
And then you and I would sit down and have some nice coffee and desert or wine if need be
Re: that all depends on HOW you come in
i have read that female bullies sometime have issues with other dogs. It definitely seems the case here and other posts. Was she like that as a puppy too? Or did she more or less grow into the behavior?
