I woke up my Lily with belly rub and got the biggest bully smile ever...

She has not gotten much attention recently because we have been constantly driving to and from vet's office with Chester, working in between and she has been on her own a lot, so when we come home, all of us are exhausted...well, yesterday she was clearly telling me this was not OK and I could barely move from exhaustion...so when I woke up (and I did earlier than usual for that reason) I went to the living room, the camping ground where they all slept (bullies now go out at night so one of us sleeps with them there) and gave her some loving...Oh, she was so happy happy.gif I love my little girl, she is so smart and patient through all of this.

I've been thinking of him too

What a situation! I hope things get turned around soon and the wheels start going smoothly for everyone concerned.

Funny you ask.

He's home with us for just a few days but then he has to return probably next week. He hadn't shaved since he left and he managed only one sort of sponge bath during his time there. We threw his main set of clothes away, we couldn't launder them enough. He dropped probably 20 pounds because there isn't time to eat hardly. He's working on some other contracts to help the local people out and needed to be "home" in order to do phone calls and document transfers and such. He says there is an entirely different world down there. There's tons of supplies on the ground but the problem right now is distribution. When supplies are handed out, women and kids get them from the back of trucks, but then grown men run up to them, hit them or push them down and steal whatever they have. There have been complete riots and one convoy was even fired upon by a bunch of local gunmen/thieves/gangs but they managed to get away. The people in the convoy would have probably been killed just because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. This is a huge problem. Medical help is going on all over the place. You wouldn't believe the places where doctors and nurses have set up shop, even on the front lawn of a local hospital. Medical cases continue to be evacuated to the US on a regular basis. More medical personel are standing by to get the word to go down there. We have over 1,000 nurses, of Hatian decent, here in South Florida, that want to go and help but housing accomodations and food and such for them hasn't or can't be arranged yet because of the immediacy of the help needed. We hope and they hope they can get their chance to go and help their countrymen out. All intentions are good at this point, as they have been from the beginning. A lot of things you won't hear from the media because they're trying to put a positive spin on everything. At this point, all we can all do is keep sending help and supplies and praying for all concerned. I certainly thank you and everybully else that is keeping Rob in their hearts, thoughts and prayers. That is such a great comfort for The Warden and myself. And "Hewwo, Onzslo", fum Lily and Chunk!

She understands

It's OK, mummy, I know you've been busy. That's not to say I don't want a good belly rub in the morning. Sweet!

They're the greatest.

I think they understand more than we think.
