I think I got my brother hooked.....lol

Yesterday afternoon, after the news of my Dad's passing, my brother came to the house and this was the first time he saw Cain. (My nephew has been here many times but not my brother. My nephew LOVES Zoey, Cain and Friday and wants a dog sooo bad!)

Well, Eric (bro) came into the house after a meet and greet outside and he sat on the couch and Cain grabbed his woobie toy and jumped up next to him on the couch and went to town.

Later that night, long after my brother had left, I had to call him about something and he says to me "Ah, a pic of you and Kim".....so I am thinking my childhood friend Kim. So since we were both going thru pics of the family for Dad's wake, I NICELY reminded him "Der, idiot....pics are suppose to be of DAD!!! Not of me and my friends!" (laughing the whole time). He then says to me "No, the pic of you on the rescue website". And then asks me "are there any pics of Cain on this website?" I had to tell Eric that Cain's former owner (abusive owner that is) wanted Cain back after I adopted him so we could not post pics of Cain in fear that this guy would show up at my house (1. he is scary 2. He lives 10 minutes away).

hm....my brother was on LIBR's website looking for pics of Cain.

Do you think I created another Bulldog lover????

I am thinking I did.....I am waiting for the next question:

Do you have any bulldogs for me?????

lol

NOW you did it..lol

funny how people react when they see a real bulldog.
I noticed that with my friends too..they see bulldogs in a whole
new light since I have 2 of them. where they would not have considered a bully before I think they will have second thoughts now..
your brother will be asking if you have a bully for him no doubt..lol.

A sweet dog....

can be such a comfort during a difficult emotional time. I'm glad Cain was there to help you both. You and your family are in my thoughts.

That baby Cain would melt anyone's heart. I think he's hooked! G

to see you post. We did enjoy going through photos when my husband's grandfather passed. So many great photos, and the photos of him as a baby in a carriage and long gown (because little boys wore gowns until age 2) were precious! It was a time to get in touch with family and share stories about who was in which photo, etc. I think it is a way to keep a family story alive for future generations. I'm glad your brother got to meet Cain. I think you better keep an eye out for a bully for "someone" soon...
Hugs,
Maggie
