sorry in advance if this is a long one. What a shame that I woke up to find many emails about the threads. I haven't read anything yet and would hope Cathy and Kim will not lock the thread/s, at least not yet, to allow whoever wants to reply a chance. All I ask is that people be courteous and don't start any rude name calling etc.

The board has been through this more times than I care to remember. Just in recent years alone, back in the early 2000s, a certain new poster monopolized the board terribly, there were non stop rescue posts all day every day, there was baby talk that sometimes went at least 1/2 page at times, the board was deluged with posts about that contest, O/T posts that come in huge spurts. There are probably more thing but I can't rememebr them all. The webmaster was bombarded with emails and handled things, one being the revision of rescue rules and not to some peoples liking. I found out the whole story as to why it was nixed and in time, if I am able, I will tell the story.

My question to everyone is why can you email us when YOU find violations that we didn't see, yet between the 3 of us, we only got a few emails about Pat's threads? I think we got more emails about O/T posts than we did about Pat. We are not on every minute of every day, just like the webmaster wasn't. I can go a few days w/o being on line but always make time to check email. If people were that pissed, why bitch among yourselves when that wouldn't change anything. She was approved to post way back in Sept. Why not tell us so we could private talk to her, correct the situation and take the heat for it as people did with the webmaster. If the webmaster was monitoring, would any of you emailed him? If yes, then why didn't you bitch to us? We are trying to do the best we can, when we have time to be on line, with what is written in black and white.

Some people appeared to be enjoying certain posts of hers and replying. Yes, there were tons and many were odd and served no purpose just like O/T posts, yet no one complained to any of us. At least she never broken any rules. She had been emailed regarding certain posts but that is no one's business except between her and the mod that emailed her.

There are things we all dislike and people we don't click with. That happens when there are 100s of people together in one place. You all know our email addresses and we would like to think that when anyone has an issue, they will bring it to one of us as they did in the past with the webmaster and let us nip it in the bud before things get out of hand.

I will read all the posts later today when I get back home.

Can we all please just move forward and leave this behind.
