just 8 1/2 weeks old. Held her all the time. She is on the small side, very compact but thick. She is also a character. She hates anything that isn't human, broom, vacuum, box, etc. She has to KILL it. Can't even open my closet door with her around, she attacks m sewing machine, or ironing board before I even take it out. Loves to play, but gets a little rough, but when she is calm, she is awesome LOL.

Then there is Spike, who is my love. He just wiggles all the time (with humans) He loves to let my two puppies who are a year younger than he is climb all over him. I was at the dog training facility to get food, and left them in the car at the front door, well when the trainer came to help me with the two big bags of food, I opened the door and she gets really nervous and says aren't they going to have an issue, I look at her as if she were crazy, Mack was climbing on top of Spike in the back seat, just laying on him and stepping on his head and my boy Spike did absolutely nothing, he just wanted to be petted! He does however, not like my next one Jackson. They were the best of pals and one day...... OVER forever! I think it's because JAckson is so skittish, it makes him inferior to Spike because he is sooooo confident.

Jackson is a special boy. He is so handsome, but afraid of everything, Doesn't like men especially tall men. Is better with women. Jackson would be great with one person and no other dogs. He is so obedient it's scary. With a lot of work, Jackson can be around my shar-pei but you have to watch him, he gets afraid and will snap.

Bella is my little girl form VA. I also have her brother Mack. She is truly a bitch! Sweet as can be to people, but she will give this look and you know what's coming next. Definitely trying to be the Alpha, sorry that position s taken! She also listens very well, doesn't like to be held but loves to be petted.

Mack is so sweet. He will sit on the couch as if he is human and watch TV. He loves to be held . Is a lot fresh with his sister, but I guess she asks for it too.

My bully was my big poppa, until his birthday x-mas eve turned 2. he was so cuddley, loving, gave the best kisses, not lazy, could climb the ladder of our pool even after we made a gate to try to keep him out. fresh and moody, boy could he get mad at you and turn his face to ignore like a teenager LOL
now he just wants to be by himself and fights with the other dogs... very scittish and tempermental... I miss my Big Poppa he changed overnight

they both sound like so much fun! Audrey is hard for me to describe, it's hard to pinpoint just exactly what it is that we ADORE so much about this dog! She does love to play, and whenever she greets someone she HAS to bring them something, she is SO cute scrambling around looking for SOMETHING, anythng to bring. She is full of energy but does enjoy her naps. She is not a cuddler, she likes to be near me when she's tired, but doesn't like anyone crowding her space. At night she sleeps between my legs, and only in the morning will she get real cuddly (it's like her coffee) and even that is a more recent thing. She DOES NOT like other dogs, and that started after she was attacked at a dog park. I think her personality has a lot to do with it too, she is a fierce little booger who will NOT back down from anything and she holds a grudge too. She is very jealous when other dogs get attention. She is VERY SMART! She picks up on things so quickly, and she trains us so smoothly we don't even realize we've been taught. She is outrageously, ridiculously, overwhelmingly CUTE. The waddle, the monkey butt, the way she hooks her paw around your ankle when she wants your attention, she is just adorable in every thing she does!

Losing Dakota was tough, but I'm glad we knew her. (oh yeah, and I forgot she did chew THE WALLS in a few places LOL)

I always thought that Bullies were all couch potato..I had no idea they would bre active and play as hard as Bella does.

neither of mine get into trouble much though and neither of them are chewers at all even tennis balls..are still fine here..with the bulldogs.

Gus is much more mellow then Bella..but funnier in lots of ways...he really is a big clown. he is full of antics........

whoever said that Bulldogs are great for apartment dwellers..most books say that..had NOT MET Bella..

Lily and Rocky sound fabulous... (and Lily might be related to Chloe LOL... who knew bullies could be so active :0)

Okay Pat, here goes, but I'm posting about 2 bullies... our first, Dakota, and our current, Chloe

Dakota, we got Dakota as a 16 week old puppy from a FABULOUS breeder in our area. She was a big smooshy baby. We had never had a bully before and really had no idea what we were getting into. She loved to be rocked in the rocking chair and to always be right by your side. She got along with Mitzi and Nugget (mom's froo froo and our 10 yr old golden)... I have many pictures of all of them sleeping on the couch (with my mom LOL) She was quiet and didn't run around much, content to lay next to you for belly rubs... even as a puppy. Her one (and it's the only one I can remember) downside is that she didn't like ANY OTHER PEOPLE but her people. If anybody came over she would hide under the table or run to her kennel. I assume that we unknowingly didn't socialize her well, ( i had no idea, really). Sadly we lost her when she was 2.5 yrs old. We were devastated and decided we HAD to have another bully IMMEDIATELY...enter Chloe...

Chloe, LOL, is the OPPOSITE of Dakota (and we thought ALL bullies would be just like 'Kota, we were dumb dumb dumb :0) (AND she didn't come from a reputable breeder, but that is another story) She is a spazzy, zoomie crazy girl. She wants to play (rough bully play) with the froo froo and golden. Um, yeah, they are having none of it. If you are ignoring her, she will tear something up... my mom is home during the day (she lives with us) so if she's busy doing something and not paying attention, Chloe will: get into a trash basket, she can open mom's sewing cabinet, push open any not well shut doors, eat ipod earpeices, phones, etc. We have ALL learned our lesson LOL and she pretty much gets all the attention she demands :0) She is, however, very sweet and loves to cuddle with you on her terms. (and I LOVE HER TO PEICES)

Chloe was so much baby cuteness when we got her, and then by time she was an ornery two year old, I was totally in love :0)
My oldest son hasn't totally (even after 2 years) bonded with Chloe (Dakota was his dog)... he plays with her, but it's not the same...

Lily is my hellcat, my jeckll & hyde, she is the sweetest baby around , she loves to snuggle, woobie and eat,she is a very active girl, loves to run around in the yard, jump in the trampoline with the grands, she is also very protective of the people she loves, she does not get along with other dogs at all, she wants to eat them, except Rocky & Harley, she makes me laugh all the time.

Rocky is my big goofball, I can do anything to him , he is my gentle giant, loves everyone and everything, he is my big ole couch potato, just loves to sleep the day away, except for jolly ball time, he is not one to cuddle or show much affection(he never had it in his other home) but is coming around in leaps & bounds, he makes me happy just by looking at him, he has cost me a small fortune with my vet, but I love him to death.

I know very little about the olde english bulldog..

Dupree is 65 lbs...Savannah 60 lbs...solid...Marley is 58 lbs..mine are on the short side too..

Bella is really foster MOM to the 3 pugs and if they get into a discussion I call it.she just walks between them and it stops FAST. she is also very protective over the pugs too....if feels Gus is playing rough with the pugs...she just throws out her shoulder and Gus and that ends that..lol. funny to watch

EB~Marley is also very loving to everyone and everything..A tad lazy,she would rather sleep and eat then do anything else..occ.zoomies happen..esp.at night when its bed time!Gets protective over her toys...
OEB~Savannah 2 yrs old...extremely loving to all and a big peacemaker, if there is a "arguement" between the other 2, she gets in the middle and begins licking both of them.Likes some toys, but the others take them from her:(

I am sure that it is hormonal thing big time too with the 2 females..
it takes time for the females to totally go back to the way they were before heat..
so hang in and see a behavourist like they are suggesting..
can not hurt and they will come to your home for a visit as well..

wow Atlas is small. I had to re read it when I seen the weight and here I thought Bella was small at 42 pounds..
Bella makes up for it in personality..what she lacks in size..and I can tell by the sounds of it as does Atlas too..

Atlas is such a lover boy and the sweetest guy ever. He loves meeting people and is great with everyone...kids, adults, dogs, cats, even the vet. He just wants to be loved on and played with. He is always making us laugh and can usually be found with his goofy bulldog grin with both fangs sticking out. He is a little guy for 1.5 years old...only 37 lbs, but thinks he is a big dog and loves to play with the big dogs at camp. he is the love of my life (besides my hubby )

Onslow is 5 years old and has one blue eye. He is the sweetest boy you can imagine- that is with family. He will jump up on strangers and grab their clothing. With us he is a big snuggle bunny, a banana stealer and a furniture chewer. He is the cuddliest dog I have ever known. He loves to sleep with his dad.
Buttercup thinks that she is the queen never mind this princess stuff. She very sweet with all people. loves attention and is very soft to touch. She beats the c**p out of Onslow and does not like other dogs. She will steal anything she can get her mouth on and loves to be chased. She is a very active girl
