How rotten is your bully?
Submitted by admin on April 20, 2010 - 5:25pmFirst off I will say that he is rotten as ummmm well lets just say he is rotten. He has to be hand fed and when he knows it time to eat he goes and lays down on his cooler bed or the sofa to wait. When feeding him if I happen to drop something on his foot he act like I have beaten him, giving me that pitiful look and will get up and move and wait for me to come where he is to finish feeding.

Mojo eats on his own except the last few kibbles then he..gives dad that look..and hubbie gets down on his sore knees and hand feeds him the last few nibbles...okay okay..I do it too..chuckle..c.e
spoiled...very spoiled
We've had great success free feeding our dog. We put her food down for her (about 1/3 at a time) throughout the day. She eats when she's hungry, often leaving some for later.
She is spoiled, though. When we play "catch the treat", and the food misses her mouth and falls on the floor, she'll wait for us to pick it up and put it back in her mouth.

Uh...I thought Sheldon was the most spoiled bully on this site. I cannot believe that. I would try what Cristina suggested. Sheldon is a vacumm cleaner...he will just eat and eat like there's no tomorrow. Smooches to your little monster

put your food down and give you 15 minutes to eat ON YOUR OWN, if you don't - too bad, you'll have to wait until next time! Eventually you'll get the point: mommy's in charge (as cute as you may be!) LOL
I don't have that problem with little miss Leeloo who eats her food like it's her last every time! That's why she's got such a belly! Hee hee!

we share everything, that is the only way he wants yoguart is off my spoon. LOL
My husband literally gags...
when I'm eating something darla really likes..hmmm say chicken I'll give her a bite right off my fork and just continue eating with the same fork...never even realized it until my husband brought it to my attention

but is there really anything wrong with some good ol' hand feeding now?

It sounds like he is the king of the household. Maybe its time for a revolution to dethrone.
Bullies are ok to be a prince or princess; but king or queen? I dont know about that. ;-}
