How often should a dog breed
Submitted by admin on April 20, 2010 - 5:25pmI was just wondering how often one female should be breed. I'm looking to buy and the breeder is expecting a litter in July from the same dog who had a litter four months ago. That seems like a lot to me. What do you think.

Does this depend on the size of the litter?
I have heard some will do a back to back breeding if the litter was one or two puppies. Is this considered ok breeding practices?
IT DEPENDS ON THE DOG
SOME WILL BREED BACK TO BACK THEN NOT BREED FOR 2 HEATS. A BITCH SHOULD NOT BE BREED MORE THEN 3 TIMES AND THAT ALL DEPENDS ON HER HEALTH. ALSO A BITCH SHOULD NOT BE BREED BEFORE THE 3RD HEAT.
