well it seems to be for some reason that Bella loves her night time snack. NOT sure what started this but a bit of something before she goes to bed. I have been giving her a piece or two of cheese. one of her favourite snacks
as far as human treats go..she lives a bit of leftover meat that is cooked..a bit of whatever as long as it does not have onions in it..
also she does not like bananas at all..but other then that a few piece of raw fruit she loves and veggies too.
NOW GUS..he is the odd one. not a big moocher. he does love a bit of leftover meat here and there..and a piece of cheese on occasion.
NO dog treats ..he does not like any of them..
HE does love a snack before bed too..he usually loves to take a few nibbles of his dogfood.
and your bullies?
can she have any of the dehrydrated treats out there...???.
they are a big hit here with the bullies
just dehyrdrated meats only
most pet shops carry them and the bullies love them
they are also just flaxseed and flour treats you can buy for the alergeries as well
but dehydrated comes in chicken, duck and liver and all kinds of things..
Bullies love them
I buy lots of these for the bulldogs and pugs
I remeber my girlfriend did that for her dog..flax only...
she had to make some kind of ginger cookies for his stomach
I think you can search that find out for sure on google..
but that is what she did..
just flax I am sure..he had a grain alergy
I used to make Audrey banana cookies
and she LOVED them. Actually I liked them too, and we would share.
Now she can't have grains, so it's next to impossible to make anything for her. I wonder if she could have flax flour??..... Don;t kniow if you can really make anything with JUST flax flour though

Poor Audrey!
since we found out she can't have grains her treat eating has drastically changed! She used to LOVE to go to Dunkin Donuts and get a munchkin, and pizza was about her favorite thing in the world. Now she can only have meat only treats, and we have given her a bit of dairy too, cheese and yogurt. I found some freeze dried raw beef food that she REALLY loves, so at least she has something besides her food.

wow..devoted MOM..lol those sound yummy...
I am not that adventuresome..lol
but I should try to make some and maybe Gus would try them
I have never seen such a fussy fussy bully when it comes to treats..
Ditto for Onslow
he doesn't get chocolate, onions stuff that's bad for him but most everything else.

If I'm getting munchkins they always get a few plain ones
I bake homemade dog cookies for Lily & Rocky
I bought a awesome cookbook for dogs, there are quite a few cookie recipes if anybody is interested just email me , this week I made cranberry & banana biscotti for them, they love it- you can mix up the fruit.

Re: I sometimes will stop and pick up a carrot muffin for the bu
I would be lying if I told you I didn't give them the occasional piece of steak or chicken left-over from dinner. They only live once... Let them enjoy something different once in awhile, I'd get sick of the same food over and over and over and over too.

The problem I have is when I start brushing them up the week or so before a dog show and I give them treats when they have done well, then the next morning, or the day before the show no less! I wake up to a terrible hot spot on their neck !! LOL
I sometimes will stop and pick up a carrot muffin for the bullie
at Tim Horton
they do love them on occasion
but not that often..
I love the muffin too..
so the bullies have great taste..lol
