Hello! Due to soft stool issues, I'm transitioning my 12 week old pup from C. Natural Chicken and Rice puppy formula (466 kcal/cup) to the C. Natural Lamb and Rice puppy formula (535 kcal/cup ). I'd been giving about 3 cups a day on the Chicken and Rice, which amounts to 1,398 but the lamb and rice formula has quite a few more calories so three cups a day would be (1,605) per day. Is that too much? My pup gobbled the cup that he got for dinner so it's not as if he couldn't handle it but I don't want to overfeed. According to the feeding calculator, a large breed pup of his age/lb range should get this much of the lamb and rice puppy formula:
2 1/4 Cups

1,152.15 Kcal/day

So would three cups a day of this formula mean I'm overfeeding...?

(FYI--I will be transitioning to adult food probably around 4-5 months of age...)
